Last week was one of those enjoyable yet busy weeks as I made my debut speaking appearance at Experts Live Europe in Berlin. Here I presented three sessions during the 3 day conference:

• Troubleshooting Configuration Manager:Current Branch Special
• Journey to the new approach to hybrid patching with SCCM and OMS (joint session with Sam Erskine)
• Patches here, patches there, patches everywhere!

It was very enjoyable and it was great to meet lots of new people both speakers and attendees as well seeing some old faces from the IT community world.

I’d like to say a particular thanks to Marcel Zehner and Isabelle Scherler for organising along with everyone else at itnetX who got involved. Additionally, thanks to Kent Agerlund as session catalog owner for approving my sessions in the first place.

If you have never been to one of the previous System Center Universe conferences or this years Experts Live Europe then I highly recommend checking it and warming the boss up early for next years event. It is a very well organised IT community event with some of the best speakers around the Microsoft technology circuit who come from all corners of the world to speak. There are a host of great vendors on display too who are available to speak to should you so wish, that’s not to mention the plentiful of swag available.
