Starting with Configuration Manager Technical Preview 1802, the Configuration Manager client us supported on ARM64 devices. These devices are typically small portable devices such as phones and tablets and often have varying operating systems. So in this ‘cloud-first, mobile-first’ world perhaps we can take this as an indication of where Microsoft could be going with this.
Standard SCCM client functionality will work with this client with the exception of operating system deployment. I don’t currently have an ARM64 device to trial this but once I do I’ll be sure to try it out and blog it.
